#17 Inspire a song
Well, how about a book...
My friend is writing a book, and the main character is centered around me.
How cool is that?
I'm totally honored by this, and it still feels a little unreal.
What he has so far is definitely amazing.
This is my blog where I post all the many adventures of me achieving random life goals. :)

Check
I guess this one was unspoken, although it's definitely a big deal.
I thought I had posted on here the timeline of when I wanted to accomplish this (talk about pressure) but maybe I just journaled it.
so. #9 3/4,
Get on Pointe. By 25.
I signed up for ballet almost two years ago. The itch to dance resonates in me. The desire to dance on pointe like I always wanted to when I was a little girl and my grandpa was so proud of me still pings in my heart. So I gave myself a logical goal.
I started ballet again at 23, get on pointe by 25.
I asked my dance teacher last year if she thought I could do it in the next year. She gave me a wince face and said we'd see where I was in January.
Insert injuries, physical therapy, and lots of icy/hot.
At the beginning of summer, she issued us a challenge of sorts. What we needed to work on, that she wouldn't put us up if we didn't do these things. She set a bar out there.
Are we gonna raise it?
Last summer class. I knew it was a big deal. Do I spot well enough? Do I plie? Do I keep my heels down?
My day was off. I was feeling intimidated. Health not too hot for some reason. (probably exhausted.) I started preparing myself for if I had to wait.
Okay, so if I don't go up in the fall, maybe January. I'd still be 25, that counts, right?
Then she said, "Before we dismiss, I'll need to see Hannah, Isla. *pause* and Emilee"
I KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS!
And sure enough.
It took everything in us to contain our complete excitement.
She told us how she was gonna wait a couple weeks after we came back so we weren't dying from the break. She'd give us our permission forms around labor day.
Two weeks before my 25th birthday.
Guys.
I did it.
I know I'm in for some pain, but it is so worth it.
